Arizona Quail Hunting Log - November 2010 Hunts: 10 December, 23 December 10 December 2010 - Scaled Quail Hunting - Southern Arizona We went out after Scaled Quail and found 1 medium size covey of Gambel's Quail that made for about 20 minutes of excitement. Fun to be in Scalie Country, but I won't be back this year. ∞ 23 December 2010 - Gambel's Quail Hunt - Central Arizona Today we went out for a hunt in some new areas and didn't find any birds. So after the first part of the morning we moved on to an area that we'd been successful in before and found 1 covey of about 25 birds. This covey we saw while driving down the road and it would be the only one we saw the rest of the day. Sad to see so few birds on these last 2 hunts in areas that have held birds even until as recent as last month. ∞ Back to November 2010 or go to Hunting Log |
